Cass Bird, Drake Brunette & Heather Kemesky for i-D Magazine Fall 2014

pictures via  www.thefashionography.com

hen finding this editorial my yearning for summer went sky high immediately.
I can exactly sympathize how Drake BurnetteCrista Cober & Heather Kemesky felt on this late summer day
modeling for this editorial for i-D Magazine Fall 2014. These pictures have so much energy and vitality
that the clothes take a back seat in this story. Without any question Vanessa Traina did a good job anyway.
I´m a huge fan of the butterfly printed dress.
Hair was done by Tamara McNaughton and Make-up by Maki Ryoke.
Summer I´m waiting eagerly for you!

Day Crush

In not more than 2 weeks I´ll sit at the hair dressers chair and have to decide how to cut my hair.
That´s why I´ve already collected some hair inspirations and that picture is what kept in my mind.
I love Frejas fringe hairdo and I really could imagine goign for this look.
What do you think? Kind too retro?
I´m a bit scared that this hair cut could need a lot of care.
But I really like it though.

Céline Summer 2015 Campaign

pictures via celine.com

Without any question, I love Daria Werbowy and
I loved every campaign she did for Céline the past few seasons but
I also love the fresh spirit Freya Lawrence, Joan Didion and
Marie-Agnуs Gillot bring along in this new campaign.
Juergen Teller did again an excellent job and gives the pictures
a certain recognition value without being boring at all.
Céline is always such an inspirational source and
that not only because of its amazing collections. What I learned?
White and raw denim obviously is a perfect couple and
flowers need to be worn from head to toe this summer!

Acne Studios Pre-Fall 2015

pictures via www.acnestudios.com

Layering, wild pattern mixes and a touch of mountain climber chic
combined Acne Studios this Pre-Fall in one collection. We can recognize again a really unconventional
and creative way of dealing with different styles, which we know and love about Acne.
Often I need some time before getting into this spirit but for now
I already in love with these super cool mountain boots.

New in

Spring is slowly moving in with two new pieces.
I´ve got a really puristic hourglass with petrol sand in it and a black marble candle holder from Bolia.
The round vase from BoConcept you already know.
I´m so happy that it is steady getting more spinglike and that  not only in my apartment.

New season

For my liking winter can leave ultimately and it could turn into summer again
- wearing light blouses, skirts without tights, espadrilles and sandals and most of all sunglasses!
The online shops already stock up on new seasons pieces and stoke our yearning for warmer days.
Too many of nice little temptations everywhere and that right after sale...
I just get my inspirations from these pretty pieces for now but summer will come quickly.
I feel this in my bones!

On my wishlist

What´s not to love about this bag?
It´s really the bag of my dreams and I definitely need it for summer.
Mytheresa.com had two colours of it on sale but unfortunately they´re already sold out.
If you know where else I can find this beauty on sale, please let me know!

Chloe SS15 Campaign

picture via www.fashionone.com

In tribute to Chloé founder Gaby Aghion, who passed away last year,,
this Spting/Summer campaign unifies the classic silhouettes,
created by her back in the 50´s and the free-spirit attitude from the 70´s.
When looking at this campaign I wish more than previously to witness these centuries.

A favourite couple

Two of my current obsessions right now are the "Pointelle Flesh" nail colour from
&Other Stories combined with my midnight blue silk blouse from Cos,
preferably worn with my new raw denim.
That´s my current uniform, which I wear almost every day at the moment.

Home Inspiration

I was looking for some Spring inspirations after I took down the Christmas tree and
all the other lovely Christmas decoations.
Subsequently I came across this cozy Gothenburg apartment.
I especially like the kitchen and the long dinner table - something I really long for my next apartment.
Among the white and natural colour pallet there are tiny pastel highlights.
A perfect place to wile away, don´t you think?

Marc Jacobs Campaign Spring 2015

I love when new campaigns coming out at the end of a season.
The first look of the Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2015 campaign has been revealed featuring Anja Rubik.
Did you recognized her?
The campaign is shot by David Sims and styled by Kate Grand and will also feature Jessica Stam,
Natasha Poly, Kendall Jenner, Aya Jones, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Anna Ewers and Adriana Lima
I like the darker atmosphere of this first insight and I´m really excited the rest of the images.

Sale picks II

Did you already make a find in this oversupply of reduced pieces?
It´s hard to make a decision in general and even harder when the shops tempting
with further reductions and further items every day.
I know myself good enough to know that I need a bit of structure during these days.

My 3 steps for the perfect sale find:
First, I´m thinking about what is actually missing in my wardrobe and make a list,
than I set myself a financial border and not until then I´m starting watching out.

It´s a good possibility not getting lost into this whole sale madness.
I think that is useful as well for people, who are lucky to have the means to buy
whatever they want to avoid an overfilled wardrobe.

I´ve made a last selection of nice pieces of clothing and some beauty stuff as well.
Watch out, if you are beauty affine like me, some beauty shops also offering a small sale section.

Here we go:

Thanks Santa!

picture taken by myself

I´m back from my trip to the Baltic sea and totally recovered.
My batteries are recharged and I´m ready for 2015!
Whatever it will bring along I´m looking forward to a really good year and
in case it´s going to become too stressful I have these to beauties with me.
Thanks Santa for knowing me so well!
Me and my hair are kind of enemies for years but
since Christmas eve I´m using the Amino Acid Shampoo and the Superbly Smoothing Argan Conditioner
from Kiehl´s and my difficult relationship seems to come to an end, finally.
They feel much healthier and smoother indeed. I do not need my straightener every day and literally love how they feel!
Long time I wasn´t sure if my money is worth such high-priced products (compared to drugstore products)
but I´ll definitely go for them when they´re going to be empty.
Furthermore all Kiehl´s products are without any silicons nor parabens and
my hair feeling amazingly smooth anyway. The naturally scent is just another extra!
If you´re still searching a solution for frizzy, unruly hair I can definitely recommend this double.

Get Amino Acid Shampoo here and Superbly Smoothing Argan Conditioner here.

If you have any experiences with the hair care line of Kiehl´s
feel free to comment below and tell me your opinion!
At this time I´m really excited.

Off to the seaside

picture via www.pinterest.com

I will spend the last few days of holidays at the Baltic sea for some relaxing hours -
in my opinion the best way to start into a new year and a trip I really yearned for.
On Sunday I´ll be back with a free mind and hopefully full of energy.
Enjoy your last free days, as well, whether at home or outboards.
