On the hunt

If I had to choose I´d dare to say that boots are my favourite type of shoes. 

I wear them throughout the whole year. Ok, not on the hottest days of summer

 but even on lower summer days I love to combine a good old bootie with short skirts and dresses. 

When it comes to this time of year my boots are my most faithful

 companions and because of that a bit of variation is a must in my wardrobe. 

I´m a sucker for brown shades shoewise and I realized a general lack of black footwear. 

And even I love my brown shoe collection, my aim for this season is to find a nice pair of classic black boots. 

These are my five short-listed pairs from my first browse. 

I´m thinking about buying the Patsha boots in black as well, as I wear the brown ones almost every day. 

Or should I rather go for a fresh new look?

I hope you does not mind when I´m saying that I´m quite happy about 

the falling temperatures and the related change to an automnal wardrobe. Autumn is just my season!

 I just thought about how great it would be to plan a trip to the alps this Autumn. 

Any tips where it is exceedingly calm and beautiful? I can already imagine myself climbing around

 that breathtaking piece of nature wrapped up in different layers of knit and casual denim. 

In my mind I´d combine this suede Gucci loafers and a crossbody saddlebag, 

probably not the best idea, but in my mind it works. In real I´d most probably wear 

absolutely unstylish functional wear and mountaineering boots - 

but who cares when you get such an amazing view at the end of the day.

Flight Essentials

 Currently, I´m probably on my way to the airport or already on the plane towards Amsterdam. 

I´m not a really frequent flyer and it´s always a challenge to get 

all my stuff packed in small space, expecially hand luggage takes up a lot of time. 

I´ve gathered a list of things which I´m going to take with me besides the obvious holiday stuff. 

A cozy outfit is another important essential on a flight and need to be well-considered as well.

Sale picks II

Did you already make a find in this oversupply of reduced pieces?
It´s hard to make a decision in general and even harder when the shops tempting
with further reductions and further items every day.
I know myself good enough to know that I need a bit of structure during these days.

My 3 steps for the perfect sale find:
First, I´m thinking about what is actually missing in my wardrobe and make a list, 
than I set myself a financial border and not until then I´m starting watching out.

It´s a good possibility not getting lost into this whole sale madness.
I think that is useful as well for people, who are lucky to have the means to buy
whatever they want to avoid an overfilled wardrobe.

What I would like wearing today: Working day

What I really like at the moment is the combination of a classic turtleneck and a classic blazer.

The perfect look for a day in the office but rather for every day.

Acne Studios launched Underwear Collection

Since lately it´s established that the Scandinavian brand Acne Studios

 launched its first pieces of underwear in habitual minimalistic designs as we know from Acne. 

A classic design paired with an Acne lettering semmes to be promising,

 remembering the success story of Calvin Klein and Huge Boss underwear. Different to them , briefs are

 only available in a shade of nude, two models for women, four for men plus undershirts, 

that´s all until now.

Day Crush: Circles

Finally the summer is back in Berlin!

I know, all-black is not the most practical colour combination for these temperatures

I never can decide whether I should be more excited about

 the beginning Sale everywhere or the arrivals of the new collections everywhere.

Than there is always the question, spend money for new pieces for the upcoming season or 

invest in cheaper summer pieces for next year. 

Is it only me who ask that itself or do you have the same problem?

That´s absolutely my collection! Silk total looks in monochrome colour tones, cozy knits and wool textures.

I love Acne more than ever before but hate it at the same time because of the prices. 

That´s the advantage of spending money on Sale.

I think I must turn my back on this seasons sale and save money for next seasons collection. 

That´s my plan. We will see how it works!

How to wear Trenchcoat: Classic chic

Another classic combination with my beloved Trench.

I think it´s the best idea to stay classy with this piece and therefore it is how it is. 

The black jeans from Acne has this really special slit detail on the front and

put emphasis on the really pretty muled by Gianvito Rossi, which you can almost see everywhere now.

Along with it I would wear an oversized white blouse and a little piece of jewelery.

On top the Trench and you´re ready for a day at work, a dinner or whatever you want to do with this great outfit.
