Yes, I am still alive...

...but unfortunately I´ve been super busy with work the last couple of weeks. 

That´s why I decided to take a little break from blogging and to focus 

on my daily work business instead of doing both things by halves. 

Now, as time went by so quickly, I began to recognize how much I was missing my personal style diary lately. 

Every inspiration and new discovery I made was carefully stored in my head in the beginning but of course, 

they became too many and I realized that I need this website to create memories of my life and inspirational sources. 

Long story short, time permitting, I´m going to be more active again on this platform and

 I hope you´ll coming along again for some outfit ideas, interior inspirations, personal wishlists and much more.

Today, I wanted to share with you some of my holiday souvenirs from my short trip to Paris. 

It felt amazing being back in my favourite city of all time. Paris is truly my happy place. 

Whenever I feel uninspired or uncertain about the future or overwhelmed by everything,

 a couple of days in this city and everything seems less complicated. 

August is perhaps not the best month to visit a big city but we were really lucky and

 spend most of our days walking through the beautiful streets of Montmatre, Marais and 

Saint Germain des Prés, ate good food and did a little bit of shopping, of course.

My most exciting and also most pricy purchase are my new sunglasses from Céline. 

An item I wanted to add to my selection for a long time and Paris felt like the perfect place to buy them. 

While strolling through Marais I found a nice little Vintage shop and quickly went in 

and came back with a new bag from Longchamp. A totally unintentional purchase but a real bargain 

and I love a good black and brown leather bag. Somehow I´m really into hair clips at the moment. 

That´s why I couldn´t leave this one, which is also hand made in France. 

Last but not least (not really visible in the picture) I bought a pair of cure little star earrings, 

which I found quite parisian and cool to glam up a simple outift for the evening. 

Oh, and I payed my favourite parisian designer Isabel Marant a visit and bought a grey woolen fisherman´s cap, 

which I wanted to buy last season already. A piece I am so happy about as it wasn´t easy to find it in my hat size. 

Apparently, I have a really small head. Such being the case the smallest size was still too small and my hat

 is at a tailor right now to make it even smaller to fit my teeny tiny head. 

We brought home, of course, some delicious macarons (a must) but they are all gone by now.

What I would like wearing today

As I promised earlier this week the quietness on the blog has come to an end, finally.

 I´m really sorry for it but the past week was just crazy! To cut a long story short 

here I go with an obviously Autumn inspired look for grey and rainy days. 

The checked shirt and those Chelsea boots (both Cos, of course) are on the top of my wishlist at the moment. 

I can literally see myself wearing this exact outfit composed with pieces I already have in my wardrobe. 

Only a classic checked shirt and the perfect Chelsea boots are missing in my collection. 

Still a huge favourite of mine is the A.P.C. halfmoon bag because of its classic but unique design, 

which would last in my wardrobe for ages. Just a fun thing I´d like to try is the Byredo hair perfume in the scent Blanche. 

 I can really good imagine how practical it can be when you haven´t got enough time 

to take a shower in the morning but still want to leave the house like your hair was recently washed. 

For me a great alternative to conventional eau de perfumes as I spray them in my hair anyway. 

The combination reminds me a bit on taking a trip to a horse ranch for a relaxing ride through the woods, 

which I honestly would love to do again as I haven´t done this since I was a teenager. 

Of course I didn´t looked as cool as I´d do with this outfit but great memories though!

The new Céline campaign pictures for Fall 2015 are finally out 

and guess who got the job again? Exactly, Jürgen Teller again 

had the privilege to shoot the iconic campaign pictures in tried and tested Jürgen Teller way.

This time rising new models like Carly Lios Agnes, Lisa Helene Kramer, Irina Djuranovic,

 Frederikke Sofie Falbe-Hansen and Karly Loyce are the faces of season and 

cut quite a figur in the upcoming Autumn/Winter designs.

Neutral Shades

A long time neutral shades like beige, brown and white were no part of my wardrobe.

Black, grey and navy blue were the dominating colour shades until I´ve discovered

my love for bright colour shades and neutrals in the past few month.

I´m so happy to recognize the tendency, that my new arrivals are mostly creme,

white or at least not black! I´ve gathered my favourite neutral coloured pieces for you.

Spring Uniform

Let´s start energetically into a new month! 

It is March, what means, Spring isn´t that far away. I can´t wait wearing my Spring uniform soon,

which consists of a perfect fitted black skinny jeans, an oversized fitted striped shirt,

not forgetting a light trench coat, some comfy ballerinas, a medium sized leather bag,

big sunnies and last but not least a touch of my favourite foundation.

Sometimes it can be that easy!

Céline Summer 2015 Campaign

Without any question, I love Daria Werbowy and 

I loved every campaign she did for Céline the past few seasons but 

I also love the fresh spirit Freya Lawrence, Joan Didion and 

Marie-Agnуs Gillot bring along in this new campaign.

 Juergen Teller did again an excellent job and gives the pictures 

a certain recognition value without being boring at all. 

Céline is always such an inspirational source and 

that not only because of its amazing collections. What I learned? 

White and raw denim obviously is a perfect couple and 

flowers need to be worn from head to toe this summer!

Day Crush

Maybe it´s a bit too early to think about summer ballerinas but they are just too pretty! 

Simple and classic with this effortless elegance which Céline is perfecting.

Why are you just so incredibly expensive?

Céline Lookbook - Full of Favorites

 I was so crazy to visit the website of Céline and look at its accessory lookbooks for Autumn/Winter season.

The result is a list full of favorite pieces. Every item for itself real perfection.

I failed when I´d tried to choose only one piece of every category but that wasn´t possible for me.

One should have dreams and these treasures are some of my secret dreams.

I would not suggest to take a look at the collection if the pure view would not satisfy immensely.

Belted

An accessory I´ve never treasured that much, but now all the more.

Belts are my rediscovery for this season!

They are available in every size and colour, they can be worn casual or chic.

 That´s why I call on wearing more belts. While seaching for a new one 

I came across a colourful variety of pretty models.

I love to wear trousers and now I even love it more because 

I can change the look every day again with one single detail.

Day Crush: Love Life Sneakers by Céline

Some of you might think I get paid for all the posts featuring Céline but I can admit, that is not the case.

I simply in love with their stuff and the fact, that I can´t afford any of their pieces at the moment or

at least has to save money for a very long time for one of their pieces makes the brand all the more interesting for me.

To cut a long story short I love the sneakers and the massage ´Love Life´ above all.

That´s my devise for today and should last forever.

Tuesday Mood

The way holding a bag can be a defining detail of a whole look. 

Whether you wear it on your shoulder, cross shoulder, in your hand or casual on the straps.

Céline has again a total different idea of wearing a bag: grasping your bag close to your body,

putting your arm through the handle of your bag.

For me it looks in any case casual and cool but in the same way elegant. 

Definitely a try worth.

It´s time to keep watching for sunnies and I think I already found the perfect one.

These Céline sunnies got everything what constitutes the perfect sunglasses.

The shape, the material, the colour, except the price is what let me think about this bargain.

Aren´t these shoes real masterpieces? 

Pheobe Philo shouldn´t be named just Designer but rather Artist. 

With her highly distinctive sense for aesthetics and trends she knows what women want.

I don´t like it to wear striking shoes but these art pieces maintain the balance between a simple elegance and

 an exceptional uniqueness. I would go for the silver-globe-heel.
