Just one more sleep and it´s Christmas - yay! 

That means 3 following days with loads of delicious food and cozy times with your family on the sofa. 

I don´t know what about you but I prefer dressing comfy and casual these days.

Travel Essentials

In less than 5 hours I´ll be in Vienna and that makes me pretty excited!
I´m just going for a couple of days with a short weekend getaway to the Alps for a bit of relaxation. 
Some of my travel essentials apart from obvious stuff like toothbrush and underwear are mentioned above. 
Not to forget cosmetics in travel sizes, a watch to be right on time for the flight and a cozy outfit. 
In addition I´ve packed some fun bits and bobs to make the journey a bit more pleasant - 
a nice little travel notepad, a portable phone charger and scented tubes 
to keep my baggage fresh from the inside.

French Vibes

Oh Paris, I miss you so much! 

My longing for France reaches its climax every autumn again 

when I look back and remember my first weeks in Paris 2 years ago.

To satisfy this longing at least a bit I went virtual shopping to get some french vibes in my life.

I don´t know why I think Paris is most beautiful in Autumn, can you?

Rediscovered

My rediscovery of the month is probably my good old pair of leather loafer. 

Streetstyle icons wearing the more fashionable fury slipper version from Gucci 

as you may have seen on different fashion week streetstyle shots lately. 

Even if I like the fur slipper I would never buy it as it is of course extremely pricy and

 I always prefer a classic item to a trendy it-piece. 

I really enjoyed wearing my loafers at the moment - the perfect shoe for this season. 

Therefore I ´ve gathered a small selection of my current favourites for you. 

Not sure about the timelessness of the Mango slipper but

 definitely a cheaper alternative to the Gucci ones.

Colour Crush

This colour becomes to be the epitome of this summer in my view. 

This beautiful warm orangy brick-red colour crosses my way wherever I go and

 lets me deviate from my habitual colour comfort zone.

I can really well imagine a combination with navy blue and beige. 

What do you think about this vibrant colour?

I´ve already bought a simple linen shirt from H&M to begin in a small way

 but the assortment is, of course, unlimited at the moment.

Best of Summer Dresses

Last week was finally warm enough to wear bare legs for the first time this year.

I found it quite hard to decide what to wear after such a long time of dressing myself up well.

 I went for a short and shirt combination but also realized a lack of pretty dresses in my wardrobe. 

This was reason enough to look arounf the shops for

 potential summer companions and these ones made it onto my wishlist:

Shades of brown

Brown was long time considered as a colour for tristesse and boredom. 

But this season there´s an end of all those prejudices since brown goes through its second adolescence. 

Right after black and grey, brown could become a real favorite in my wardrobe. 

You´re asking why? Brown is such a modest colour without being boring. 

This colour has so many facets - from camel over cognac up to hazel and beige. 

Preferably combined with each other but also a good looking with black and khaki. 

The selection online is more than multifaceted as you can see.

Top 4 Tartan Scarves

Right after my obsession for coats comes my obsession for scarves. 

I love buying scarves in every imaginable size, print and fabric. What still lacks in my wardrobe is a tartan scarf.

Probably a real essential! That´s why I looked out for some pretty models and

found two cheaper and two more expensive versions.

My favorite is this one from Saint Laurent but right after that one from Mango and compared to 
each other regarding my budget I´d definitely go for the Mango scarf.

What I would like wearing today

It´s hard to perceive but that is Elin Kling wearing this super great look outside Alexander Wang SS15 Show 

during NY fashion week. It is kind of casual meets chic without being to overdone or even to casual. 

This look is simple, effortless and elegant and perfect for 

a fashion week marathon when running from one show to another. 

I´d love to wear this look in my everyday life exactly like this. 

Therefore I tried to style the look in a mid-range price segment but that didn´t worked admittedly. 

Some of the pieces are more expensive and others a bit less.

Mango Autumn/Winter Campaign 2014

These campaign pictures for Mango´s Autumn/Winter collection make me feel so peaceful. 

Pretty Daria Werbowy looks so relaxed in the pictures wearing the upcoming collection.

I´d love to make a trip to a calm place like this, even if my holidays just ended.
