Wishful Thinking

The past weekend finally felt like Spring here in Berlin. The sun treated us with its warmest sun beams and 

everything smelled fresh and spring-like. When it comes to me Spring could be all year round. 

The perfect weather to get out your sandals and wear them with a classic pair of blue jeans. 

There is a small selection of shoes I´d still like to add to my Spring/Summer shoe collection this year. 

For example a nice pair of leather slippers as well as a pair of mid heeled sandals. 
ATP Sandals seems to make my most secret shoe dreams come true by its modern minimalism. 
One pair of them might be my next big investment.

 I don´t know when my obsession has started but I can´t help myself when it comes to shoes.

Cozy Christmas

Just one more sleep and it´s Christmas - yay! 

That means 3 following days with loads of delicious food and cozy times with your family on the sofa. 

I don´t know what about you but I prefer dressing comfy and casual these days. 

Hence Christmas jumpers are essentials during Christmas holidays. 

Easy to style with a skirt and tights for the ultimate comfort or even with an elegant trouser and heels.

What I would like wearing today

It is not only Saturday today, that alone is a reason to celebrate, no, it is also my birthday! Yay!

Indeed it will be a day like every other day but my mom and my grandmother will pay me a visit and 

we are going to have a lovely afternoon with tea, rambling and nice chats, in short 

spending some rare quality time together. That has been a tradition for the last 3 years and

 I really enjoy it since I´m not living that close to my family anymore.

On this occasion I´d love to wear a casual but still chic outfit (it´s my birthday anyway), 

that I can easily upgrade to an evening look by adding some red lipstick, 

as I´ll meet up with my friends for some drinks afterwards. 

Black is one of my favourite colours to wear and looks always super chic with red lipstick. 

But you can never go wrong with an effortless french kind of look, I guess.

French Vibes

Oh Paris, I miss you so much! 

My longing for France reaches its climax every autumn again 

when I look back and remember my first weeks in Paris 2 years ago.

To satisfy this longing at least a bit I went virtual shopping to get some french vibes in my life.

I don´t know why I think Paris is most beautiful in Autumn, can you?

What I would like wearing today

Currently I´m sick, spending my days in bed.

The only positive thing, which that brings along, I have some time

to browse through the web and discover pretty things online. 

My today´s selection is a perfect working day outfit in my view. 

Suiting to the autumnally weather consisting of casual elements paired with some more elegant pieces.

I´d love to wear this look todays, if I wear not sick.

Wanted: Summer Dress

I know I´m a little bit late with my Summer dresses searchings.

The last few weeks it was just too cold to think on hot weather and Summer that

I totally forgot so look after a faithful Summer companion.

Last week I already showed you one of my latest bargains within one cute checked dress

but that´s definitely not enough for a whole Summer, right?

At the moment I rediscover my femininity and dream of wearing light and

bight cute Summer dresses in shades of white, blue and pink.

In the mood of Christmas: Outfit II

Last week I already present you a casual Christmas Eve Option

consisting of a tartan sweater and burgundy details here.

Now it´s time to think about an elegant alternative.

There are different traditions everywhere, some of you might dress up for Christmas Eve,

some of you stay cozy and some of you, me included make a mixture of both.

For the elegant Option I´ve chosen a shimmery feminine dress from Cos with over-knew

black leather boots from Zara; combined with a classic black coat from Topshop,

warm tights and a bronze metal necklace also from Cos to make it a little bit more special.

I like the shade of bronze because it gives a little bit more of the Christmas spirit.

If you like black in the same way than me, it could be the perfect Outfit for this thoughtful evening.

Kate Bosworth collaborated again with the highstreet brand Topshop.

The Collection was just lunched and convinces with really clean and classic pieces.

Kate Bosworth about her Designs:  

“The collection is tailored and classic.

For fall, we wanted to create luxurious pieces with a strong minimalist approach.

Slim silhouettes are cloaked in a masculine shape,

staying true to the mix of masculine/feminine balance that exists in my personal aesthetic.” 

I also really like the campaign shots, where Kate herself is modeling in her creations.

Trend colour: blue

This week I´m dedicating myself to

the trend colours of this autumn/winter season,

starting with blue in a really wide range of colour shades.

Looking in my wardrobe, you´ll find a lot of blue; pants, sweaters, tops.

It´s never my intention to buy blue but it´s a really practical colour to combine with others.

This season the trend came up combining blue and black; that´s what I´ve always done my whole life.

For some people the absolutely no go but for me it´s always been a nice ensemble.

FakePR Showroom

Second stop on my list was the Asos Showroom, located close to my first stop.

The door opened and I was welcomed really friendly.

The Collection looks quite colourful and abounding in prints, like always.

It made a good feeling to discover the powerful pieces and feminine designs, which are also present in their accessories.

Mixed with a young coolness, Asos remains faithful on their energetic style,

Afterwards, I´ve paid a visit to Haeberlein & Maurer, who kept ready an assortment of

Topshop, Topman and exclusive pieces from the online shop vestiairecollective.com.

These sandal from Topshop were already added to my wishlist and now even more. 

The simple design convinced totally, just like the selection of

amazing second hand designer pieces from Chanel, Balenciaga or Lanvin.

I went on with FakePR near to Hackescher Markt, where I discovered new Collections from Joseph,

Fillipa K, Urban Outfitters, By Marlene Birger and a lot more.

In my view, they had the most far reaching offer of brands in their agency.

By Marlene Birger designed a pyjama-liked ensemble, which was really dashy, made from a soft silk fabric.

The white pants with light blue detail was also a highlight of her collection.

Same blue but other design by Filipa K implanted in a tricolour silk dress.

Friday, I went to Agency V and On Time PR, which I´ll present you in my next post.

On my Wishlist: Winter Booties

I don´t know how I came through the cold winter last year without a warm winter bootie.

For that reason I definitely must buy a warm and timeless winter shoe, that last for the next few winters.

Preferable, I would choose the Acne Pistol Boot ( down middle) with fur inside, 

because it would really keep me warm and  it look also fantastic. 

Unfortunately, the price exceeds my means with 490€.

Definitely, a justified price for the quality but too much for a simple student budget. 

Topshop (down left) also designed a similar pistol boot for only 100€.

Also Vagabond (down right) offers a similar one made from leather and

with 100€ also much cheaper, even if the differences are obvious. 

But when you haven´t got the money you must make compromises.

The upper examples are both from Cos and with 150€/175€ also achievable.

I´m not sure if it´s a good idea to wear small heels all winter long.

For that reason I would like to try this blue Chelsea Boot on the left side. 

The black ones came across with a simple design with refined details and could also a nice option.

Regretfully, all of them don´t measure up to Acne Pistol Boots,

which keep warm and convinces in a perfect timeless Design. 

I must stop dreaming.

Winter Coats: Pouder Shades

The time is already come, where I´m thinking about a new winter coat.

Last year, I´ve bought a really classy black model from Cos and I´m still so happy with my choice.

The reason why I´m thinking about a new one, is the variety of new pastel/pouder colours, which on the market now!

I would love to have such a bright coloured coat, like in the example picture of Elin Kling above, for the winter season.

I browsed through several online shops and selected my favorites coats for you.

That must be the perfect suit. 

Amazing material and a quiet colour, which is exceptional anyway.

Add some bloody red with the small Rika Bag and some Birkenstocks and a comfortable

and elegant Look is created.

Would like to wear it at work today.

This time I´ve chosen a more feminine Look with a skirt from Topshop and a flower-printed oversize Tshirt from Acne.

I like the stylistic inconsistency of a casual girly touch and the sporty impact of the shoes.

In addition to that I would like wearing a hang on purse and round Acne sunnies.

The colour combination is soft and harmonic contrasting to the sporty elegant Look.

I would love to wear it now!
