What I would like wearing today

As I promised earlier this week the quietness on the blog has come to an end, finally.
I´m really sorry for it but the past week was just crazy! To cut a long story short
here I go with an obviously Autumn inspired look for grey and rainy days.
The checked shirt and those Chelsea boots (both Cos, of course) are on the top of my wishlist at the moment.
I can literally see myself wearing this exact outfit composed with pieces I already have in my wardrobe.
Only a classic checked shirt and the perfect Chelsea boots are missing in my collection.
Still a huge favourite of mine is the A.P.C. halfmoon bag because of its classic but unique design,
which would last in my wardrobe for ages. Just a fun thing I´d like to try is the Byredo hair perfume in the scent Blanche.
I can really good imagine how practical it can be when you haven´t got enough time
to take a shower in the morning but still want to leave the house like your hair was recently washed.
For me a great alternative to conventional eau de perfumes as I spray them in my hair anyway.
The combination reminds me a bit on taking a trip to a horse ranch for a relaxing ride through the woods,
which I honestly would love to do again as I haven´t done this since I was a teenager.
Of course I didn´t looked as cool as I´d do with this outfit but great memories though!

Winter time is Turtleneck time

pictures taken by myself

A couple of years ago I couldn´t imagine in the least wearing turtleneck sweaters.
Too many bad memories from the past but in the last few years I came to appreciate these once spurned pieces.
Now, I cannot imagine a better companion during this freezing time.
When I don´t know what to wear and I feel like cuddling up I always reach for one of my turtlenecks.
Meanwhile I´ve collected a small but mighty selection of multicombinable turtlenecks.

From the bottom up:

Grey melange Cos (last year) / Beige melange Zara (available in stores now)

How to wear Trenchcoat: Parisian chic

Berlin´s weather was on its best behaviour this weekend and rewards us with a lot of sun and warm temperatures.
Time to spring my new Trench and show up the world. It´s my first Trenchcoat and I need some exercises in combining it.
Therefore I´ve strolled through the web and pick out my favorite looks in combination with my new Trench.
The first look is quite classy but I think it´s the easiest way to wear it because the Trench itself is such a classic piece.
Boyfriend jeans, striped tee and boyish shoes giving a bit of a Parisian feeling, particularly pimped with a red lipstick.
A piece of jewelery brings along a feminine touch and the grey silk scarf is just another pretty detail.
That was almost the outfit I wore on the weekend, when me and my Trenchcoat had the first possibility
to get to know each other and it wa a great beginning, I think.

In the mood of Christmas: Outfit I

I´m already in a total Christmas fever.
I almost managed all my Christmas shopping, baked cookies,
decorated my apartment and went on a Christmas market.
I was never the kind of girl, who had these total crush on Christmas
but since last year I´m so addicted to all this lovely traditions.
The perfect outfit for all these Pre-christmas madness
consisting of a tartan Acne sweater in the typical colours of Christmas,
a turtleneck sweater to wear beneath, classic pants, burgundy boots,
the suiting scarf and not to forget a cozy coat.
Also a casual variant to wear on Christmas Eve!

I wish I would wearing

It doesn´t look like in the picture now here in Germany but it feels like!
The temperatures falling and falling and the best option for me to stay warm is the turtleneck in the moment.
This sweater from Weekday already landed in my shopping bag during my last trip.
To that I would love to combine the flared trousers from Filippa K and
a cozy warm-keeping leather jacket from Acne. Booties by Cos,
gloves from Asos and a pastel pink scarf round off the outfit.
The jacket is also a nice variation to all the winter coats, all are wearing now, me included.

New in: Weekday, Cos, Fleamarket

I had some small shopping experiences last week and that is what I´ve found.

Dress Cos (wore on my birthday) / Turtleneck Sweater Weekday / Circle Mirror Fleamarket

The dress is the perfect mixture of sporty and elegant and a bit of girly.
A turtleneck sweater was also on my wishlist for this winter and
Weekday´s men section had exactly the model I was searching for.
Perfect shape, a little bit oversized and longer but still fitting, in a dark grey including a cool turtleneck.
On sunday my shopping marathon went on as I saw this tiny vintage mirror on the flea market.
Came, saw, bought.

Only on my list left, the Christmas presents for my lovelies.

Isabell from STOESBLOG tells us her Winter Essentials

collage by stoesblog.blogspot.de

It felt like christmas, birthday and easter at the same time,
when I typed my first words which should be featured on a totally different blog.
A collaboration I am really happy to be part of.
When Julia from the lovely blog fridahannegaby.blogspot.de and I had the pleasure to met each other a few weeks ago,
we recognized immediately that we share more than just the same passions and aesthetics for fashion and design.
It was an idea which we couldn't get out of our minds: starting our own project,
to give our common features a new space to show you. Lets start with our little winter essential guide.
Wanna see what Julia picked out for this season?

Check it out on www.stoesblog.blogspot.de!

1. there is nothing better than a classy, black coat for
this fall / winter: pc queen coat, weekday
2. I simply love headbands. They don't keep you only warm,
they even look stylish: wool headband, DKNY
3. J. Crew fine knit merino wool turtleneck sweater, Net a Porter
4. chopped lips? not this season: crème de rose, Dior
5. a cup of tea, a book and this blanket: VJ0202 Blanket, House Doctor
6. rosemary lavender shower gel, Face Stockholm
7. I love cosy leisure ware. especially this sweet ensemble:

German Press Days: Agency V, On Time PR

Agency V
Stine Goya SS14 Collection
Printed Denim Dress by Stine Goya
Suede ensemble by Hien Le
Unique Designs by Henrik Vibskov
Minimarket SS14 Collection
Minimarket Shoe Collection
Jewelery by Vibe Harslof
Jewelery by Maria Black
Sunglasses Designs by Mykita Berlin
Vest by Weekday
Design by Hay
Shoe Collection from Vagabond SS14

Last point on my list was On Time PR but before I visitied the lovely Agency V in the top floor of an old industry loft.
They maintain also one of the best selection of brands just like Henrik Vibskov, Hien Le,
Weekday, Vibe Harslof, Maria Black, Stine Goya, Ganni up to Minimarket.
Highlight also of both days was the Collection of german young Designer Hien Le.
Still on the runway his Collection didn´t convinced, in real the pieces are just amazing!
The suede ensemble in light green-grey consisting of a short and bomber jacket was absolutely awesome.
Stine Goya remains feminine and playful like before but let it never become boring.
With her pastel coloured Collection of abricot, grey and cream you can definitely look like a modern fairy in a big city.
Especially the formfitting printed denim dress, perfected by gold buttons was my favorite of her SS14 Collection.
Also Minimarket coped with bowl me over with their flower print and minimalistic Designs.
You know, I´m not a big fan of prints but these flowers are so unobtrusive that they even convinced me.
The suiting shoes would be perfect for a matchy Look.
Henrik Vobskov shoe Designs on the other side are really unique like his whole Collection.
Colourful, printful and crazy cuts.
The assortment goes on and also involves jewelery designs of Vibe Harslof and Maria Black.
Known for their filigreed and special creations.
My favorite, if I should have one, is Vibe.
Her delicate pieces of jewelery follows a different tack and bring out a total different view of ways to wear jewelery.
I love her unconventional creativity.
Mykita Berlin designs sunglasses and is also really good in it.
Their shapes are unique and modern also the colours and materials.
For next summer I´ll definitely keep watching for one of their models.
Weekday is also one of the brands Agency V is presenting.
The Scandinavian brand comes along with a new unisex Collection called S/HE and
also hold ready some cool designs at affordable prices.
Agency V showed us a huge range of new summer pieces but it was not the really last pint on my list.
On Time PR made the end and surprised with a cool new chair design from the danish brand Hay.
The surface is made from soft leather in contrast to the delicate metal under frame.
Vagabonds sandal collection makes a successful conclusion and
offers a wide range of nice alternatives to Birkenstock sandals from this year.

I think a promising perspective for next Spring/Summer.
Let me dream more and more of the warm season.
