Gift Guide

The countdown has started. Everyone, including me, is excited for Christmas, I guess.
Aren´t you?
I know how hard it can be to keep a clear head during this crazy time of year and
I hope to give you one or another idea for your loved ones, if you haven´t got any yet.
I don´t know if it´s just me but I think, it´s always easier to get a lovely present
for a female person whether it is your mum, sister, friend or grandmother.
But it is also important to keep track of all these tempting pieces and focus on the person
you want to give this present. Buying something just to have something to give away is never a good solution.
When you know this person really enjoys beauty, buy something beauty related.
When you know this person doesn´t like any girly stuff maybe get something technique related like a phone charger.
Some people really enjoy organising things, then a pretty hanger set might be the right present.
It is all up to the personality of your presentee! It´s still enough time to sit down for a while and
give thought to everyone you want to give a present. Maybe, my collage gives you one or another inspiration.
I would love to hear your ideas as well!

PS: Next week is also a Gift Guide for boys coming up.

Home Inspiration

I really like this arrangement of magazines, vintage frames, fashion pieces and far eastern details.
I spotted this moroccan basket the other day at Hay and put it straight on my brithday wishlist.
Isn´t it beautiful? It´s also worth taking a closer look at the rest of this lovely bohemian
inspired apartment of a swedish family. Click here if you like to check it out.

Wishful Thinking

I can´t believe that I´ve moved to my apartment over a year ago and
some corners are still not finished yet. But I geuess you know this situation
and probably you´ll never get finished.
For some inspiration I did virtual window shopping yesterday and discovered
loads of pretty little things, which would be really welcome to move in:

Christmas feeling

pictures taken by myself

A little sneak peak into my apartment, how it looks like now in Christmas season.
Here and there some small christmassy decorations and fir branches or other branches in almost every room.
Really puristic with a traditional touch. I like decorations with an ancient, sometimes cheesy look.
The Advent calender is do-it-yourself with only a few things (via www.modulor.de)
and little effort and looks fantastic. I´ve also tried to
make a Advent wreath but somehow my plan failed as I didn´t know
how to fix the candles on my quite slim wreath.
That´s why I decided to hang the wreath on the ceiling and light just a single candle.
That´s how it looks like at the moment and it feels really cozy in my mind.
As you can see I like it simple. What do you prefer for your home?

PS: If you´d like to know where I got special things from, feel free to contact me!

Dear Santa

After presenting you my Gift Guides for Girls, Boys, Mother and Father
I´ll also present you my personal wishes and maybe give you some suggestions for your wishlist as well.
You might recognize, I´m in love with the product line of Aesop.
I had the luck to get a great selection of Aesop things for my birthday and they even convinced much more.
This time I would be happy about a moisturizing shampoo and a lip balm.
The turn of the year is coming closer, time to think about a new calender.
A really beautiful version I discovered at Hay. The weekly planner would embellish every day.
My favorite brand Cos offers the perfect cozy tee for sleep I searched for so long, striped and made from finest cotton.
During my last stop at Cos I also discovered the book Northern Delights ,
amazing insights in the Scandinavian interior culture. A real must-have for minimalistic interior lovers like me.
Their sister company & Other Stories let me dream from this nude leather clutch
which is designed in collaboration with Isabelle Bois. Simple and so beautiful.
Equally beautiful the filigree bracelet by Vibe Harslof, I admire for such a long time.
The unique art work besides catch my eyes while browsing through the website of goodhoodstore.com
and fell in love immediately. Lovely!
Last but not least on my wishlist, like the year before a cozy lamb skin, this time in a dark brown.
Would be the perfect match to my white one from last Christmas.
Only some tips, for my dear family members who still searching for a suitable gift or for those,
who searching something for a beloved friend.

German Press Days: Agency V, On Time PR

Agency V
Stine Goya SS14 Collection
Printed Denim Dress by Stine Goya
Suede ensemble by Hien Le
Unique Designs by Henrik Vibskov
Minimarket SS14 Collection
Minimarket Shoe Collection
Jewelery by Vibe Harslof
Jewelery by Maria Black
Sunglasses Designs by Mykita Berlin
Vest by Weekday
Design by Hay
Shoe Collection from Vagabond SS14

Last point on my list was On Time PR but before I visitied the lovely Agency V in the top floor of an old industry loft.
They maintain also one of the best selection of brands just like Henrik Vibskov, Hien Le,
Weekday, Vibe Harslof, Maria Black, Stine Goya, Ganni up to Minimarket.
Highlight also of both days was the Collection of german young Designer Hien Le.
Still on the runway his Collection didn´t convinced, in real the pieces are just amazing!
The suede ensemble in light green-grey consisting of a short and bomber jacket was absolutely awesome.
Stine Goya remains feminine and playful like before but let it never become boring.
With her pastel coloured Collection of abricot, grey and cream you can definitely look like a modern fairy in a big city.
Especially the formfitting printed denim dress, perfected by gold buttons was my favorite of her SS14 Collection.
Also Minimarket coped with bowl me over with their flower print and minimalistic Designs.
You know, I´m not a big fan of prints but these flowers are so unobtrusive that they even convinced me.
The suiting shoes would be perfect for a matchy Look.
Henrik Vobskov shoe Designs on the other side are really unique like his whole Collection.
Colourful, printful and crazy cuts.
The assortment goes on and also involves jewelery designs of Vibe Harslof and Maria Black.
Known for their filigreed and special creations.
My favorite, if I should have one, is Vibe.
Her delicate pieces of jewelery follows a different tack and bring out a total different view of ways to wear jewelery.
I love her unconventional creativity.
Mykita Berlin designs sunglasses and is also really good in it.
Their shapes are unique and modern also the colours and materials.
For next summer I´ll definitely keep watching for one of their models.
Weekday is also one of the brands Agency V is presenting.
The Scandinavian brand comes along with a new unisex Collection called S/HE and
also hold ready some cool designs at affordable prices.
Agency V showed us a huge range of new summer pieces but it was not the really last pint on my list.
On Time PR made the end and surprised with a cool new chair design from the danish brand Hay.
The surface is made from soft leather in contrast to the delicate metal under frame.
Vagabonds sandal collection makes a successful conclusion and
offers a wide range of nice alternatives to Birkenstock sandals from this year.

I think a promising perspective for next Spring/Summer.
Let me dream more and more of the warm season.

New in from Copenhagen

Copenhagen is really a great city to go shopping.
Besides the highstreet brands like H&M, Zara and all the others, apart from the big streets
you can find small shops with a well-selected offer of cool scandinavian brands.
One of my first places where I go is the Acne Archive in Elmegade. This time I didn´t bought something
but I love it to discover and search for real treasures.
These few things I´ve bought are my new favorites.
Actually, I didn´t wanted to buy something at Cos, like every time, but a small stop et voilà, these three things
and a pair of light blue socks landed in my shopping bag and they turned out to a good investment.
Additionally, I must bought the latest issue of Cover Magazine with beautiful Kristin Liljegren on the Cover
and two small pieces from Hay for my boyfriend.
At least I brought my favorite sweets from Denmark, sweet liquorice, you definitely must try. It´s heaven.
Well, that is my haul and soon there will follow Outfit post with all the stuff and a preview of Cover Magazine,
which contains again soo nice editorials!

New in

These few things are mine, now.
One last time I´ve made a Cos Online Sale order and that is what I got:
Silk and woolen blouse and a short jacket with pleats in blue.
I recommend to have a look at their website cosstores.com, where you can find reductions up to 70 percents now.
The other day, my boyfriend, the best all over the world, made me this beautiful present,
I´ve dreamed from for such a long time.
The fantastic Hay Tray table, you can shop here.
It fits perfect in our living room and gives the room a minimalistic, stylish atmosphere.
I love it´s simplicity.
Additionally to that, I´ve found this retro metallic candle holder designed by Nagel Bmf Quist
on ebay.com and had the luck to get it for really low money and now, it´s fitting perfectly on my new Hay table.
A perfect couple and I´m so glad with all this novelties.
