What I would like wearing today

As I was looking at the newest Spring Summer collection of Filippa K yesterday
this brown leather dream from last seasons presentation came suddenly
back into my mind and stays there ever since. Therefore I decided to create a full look
out of this piece to bring the outfit ideas in my head on paper, or rather on screen.
I could not do otherwise and created a classic, obviously seventies inspired look mixing brown and
blue shades with silver hardware. The a-line skirt is key piece of the look and as it´s made of real lamb nappa
it is understandably not really a bargain buy. But if you´re lucky enough to live in Sweden,
close to Stockholm or Uppsala, you can benefit from Filippa K´s latest lease project,
where you can rent pieces of the current collection for 20 percent of retail price for 4 days lease.
A great project to encourage a more sustainable fashion consumption in times of mass production and fast fashion.
I´d definitely make use of this possibility when it is going to be in Berlin anytime soon.
What about you?

Wishful thinking: Beach

It´s not that far until we are able to wear these kind of outfits again.
I mean without tights, without jackets and scarves - just a pretty touch of cloth and
a bikini underneath, some nice accessories and nothing else.
I really miss the warm sun beams, which I gonna damn for sure
when the temperatures top 30 degrees.
For now, it couldn´t be warmer in my opinion.
This outfit is going to be my summer uniform:

Home inspiration: Linen sheets

I can´t imagine something better than cuddling up in fresh linen sheets. Can´t you?
And because it´s Spring time I thought it would be a good idea for fresh new Spring colours.
You can find a big selection of linen sheets in every imaginable colour on www.merci-merci.com.
I can´t even decide for one colour...

What I would like wearing today: Working day

What I really like at the moment is the combination of a classic turtleneck and a classic blazer.
The perfect look for a day in the office but rather for every day.
What else do I need for a day at work: my favourite tea mug, the suiting weekly planner
from Els & Nel, which I discovered recently, a pretty pen,
with which it is fun to work and a touch of my favourite scent.

Christmas Gift Guide: For your Mother

You´ve already done all your Christmas shopping? Only 20 days left!!
I belong to these persons, who made all their procurements as early as possible.
You might think I´m crazy but I like it when I don´t need to run through the shops
with all the other last minute shoppers.
I´m this kind of person, who think about their presents carefully.
To buy just something senseless isn´t my intention, always must have a deeper meaning.
I selected some nice stuff, which would suit well to my mother and maybe also to yours?

Birthday Wishes

Every year the same, I´m always waiting with pleasant anticipation of my birthdays.
I don´t know why, because actually it´s nothing special, but I´m loving the idea of this day.
Even if, I never celebrate in a big way, it´s always such a nice tradition to sit with your lovelies together,
drink a cup of tea, eat birthday cakes and having this magical feeling of a birthday kid.
I have a small birthday present guide for those,
who haven´t got an idea or need something nice for another lucky birthday girl.

New in: Paris Trip

I brought so much nice stuff with me from Paris.
Here is my selection; a lot of Autumn/Winter pieces
like a cozy sweater from Cos and the perfect woolen coat, I´ve already introduced you.
Also in my shopping landed, a simple white men´s shirt to dress up simple sweaters as I bought.
At Merci I made a find with a vintage lace shopping bag,
Aesop Lip Balm and Controler, a light pink dishtowel, as well pen and
sharpener from the swiss brand Caran d´Ache as you may know.
With these few thinks my winter wardrobe is already well prepared now!
