Home Story Part III

Already the last part of my private home tour.
Two rooms, kitchen and bathroom are not that big indeed.
Here you can see bathroom and kitchen.
The kitchen made the biggest change compared to out moving in.
We laid white ground on our own and installed a total new kitchen.
The result is one of my favorites in the whole apartment and I love to spend my time in there
baking, cooking and eating, of course!

Well, that´s it. That is how I live. Always on the go but otherwise a bit boring, if all rest like it is.
Hope I could give a small insight and maybe some inspiration as well!

Pre-Fall crush: Emerald

Some days ago I didn´t suspect my deep love for emerald green.
But when I came over a collage of home accessories seen on www.inattendu.tumblr.com
I fell in love immediately with this colour.
Its deepness and calmness fascinates me and even I´m not a person who wears so much colours,
this is one of these achromatic colours I like!
Especially mixed and matched among themselves.
Next shopping trip I definitely keep watching this tone!

Edie Campbell's family affair for Lanvin

pictures via www.fashion.telegraph.co.uk

For its latest campaign Lanvin not just hired top model Edie Campbell
but also booked her entire family as well.
Campbell is joined by her younger sister Olympia, older brother Arthur, mother Sophie Hicks,
father Roddy Campbell, grandmother Joan, grandfather Jeremy,
as well as her own boyfriend Otis Ferry, and her sister's, Mateo.
Edie also managed to include her horse Dolly in some of the campaign pictures.
What a super cool family she has!
Everybody with its really own personality and style.
I love this unconventional campaign!

Home Story Part II

Here we go with the second part of my private house tour.
This time you can see our corridor and the bedroom.

At the beginning it was quite awkward sleeping with such bright curtains but slowly I begin to like it
because you are going to woken up by the sun.

Day Crush

What about this dark green leather jacket for a change
instead of all the conventional black biker jackets?
A really great look Zara styled on its online store. Love almost everything of this look -
wide leg trousers, white sneakers, khaki sweater, blue shirt beneath and this fantastic leather jacket.
What do I say? I like everything about it!

Shop the jacket here.

Home Story Part I

Some of you might remember my promise some weeks ago to show you the results of our movement.
I finally got it to take pictures of our almost finished apartment.
In the first part you can get an impression of our living room, which is the room we are using a lot.
It´s a total different feeling having a separate sleep and living area.
Next week there´ll follow pictures from the rest of the apartment.
So stay tuned!

Retrospectively, I must say, I´m still happy to having done this decision
to move from my tiny but lovely Prenzlauer Berg apartment to our new apartment in Neukölln.
Even if it lasted some weeks till I´m habituated to the new area, t
he apartment compensate it with its largesse compared to the old one.
After some really hard working weeks it´s almost finished now and
there are just some small corners which are in need of improvement yet.
I´m fortunate that the biggest part is done and it´s time to relax.

Hope you like it!

Filippa K Autumn/Winter 2014 Campaign

pictures via vogue.com

While the temperatures going higher and higher here in Germany,
we don´t want thinking about autumn yet. Actually!
The autumn/winter campaigns and collections which slowly stock up in stores are just to tempting.
The swedish brand Filippa K just released their awesome campaign featuring Constance Jablonski.
She looks perfect in the classic designs of Fillipa K without upstage the clothes.
Even if the colour palette is quite monochrome the warm and soft tones and
the simple whites suiting perfectly to each piece of clothing.
Timeless is the perfect word for this campaign.
I keep an eye on the powdery sweater.

My Sale Picks: Cos

Dont´t get me wrong, I´m really thankful that the temperatures in Berlin finally hit the 30 degrees
but when I get the possibility to shop already for my autumn wardrobe I don´t hesitate.
I discovered these two pieces on Sale and couldn´t resist.
Such a pity actually that I can´t wear them right now.
But than I have one more thing to look forward when it will get colder again.
Just love the colour of the blouse and the v-neck of the knit.
Two pieces I will definitely wear all winter long.

Editorial: Toni Garrn for The Edit

pictures via fashiongonerogue.com

I never tried sailing but when looking at these pictures I think I should definitely have a try at this.
Toni Garrn looks so fantastic posing on the boat.
I love the classic sailor look stylist Maya Zepinic gave her.
The pictures whet my appetite for spending my holidays like this,
feeling the sun in my neck and a cool breeze through my hair, wearing pieces of Proenza Shouler,
Alexander McQueen and Oscar de la Renta as well.
The perfect imagination right now while sitting in a hot office typing these lines.
These story was shot by David Bellemere for The Edit.

Interior Inspiration

One of my running projects is to fill my pale walls with a lot
and I really mean a lot of frames and great pictures like you can see it in the picture.
I´d like to mix all sizes and types of pictures with each other and I´m still searching for some arty posters to add.
Any ideas?

What I would like wearing today

I had some time to browse through some online shops at the weekend and
found a piece I definitely need for autumn.
The XL V-neck knit from Acne Studios is really the perfect pick for autumn/winter.
I tried to style it already for a cooler summer day like we have in Germany right now.
You might not believe me but it´s really possible
to wear a sweater with a pencil skirt and sneakers at these temperatures.
Sad but true.
The better point about this is,
that I can truly think about buying the sweater already without having a bad vibe about this.

Caroline Brasch Nielsen after Valentino Haute Couture Show

pictures via aloveisblind.com

While I´m feeling relieved that my job for Berlin Fashion week is successful done,
the Parisian Haute Couture Shows will end up tomorrow.
I finally got it to watch some Streetstyle shots and this one is my favorite till now.
Caroline Brasch Nielsen after Valentino Haute Couture shot by Sandra Semburg.
Such a beautiful girl with an effortless cool look. I love these striped pyjama pants and the Chanel bag.
Great pic!
I definitely have to catch up a lot from Paris and also Berlin´s Fashionweek.
