An afternoon walk with Marie

Last week my friend Marie and I went for a short afternoon stroll through the streets 

of Berlin Mitte and discovered this beautiful hidden place in a courtyard. 

I couldn´t resist taking a few pictures of her as the sun came out.

As you may know I´m a photography student and obviously a fashion victim as well. 

In the past, I set the focus of my blog a little bit more on fashion but 

I also tried to incorporate my passion for photography 

by searching for great photo stories and introduce them to you.

In the future I want to combine these two fields even more with each other and 

want to show you more of my work as well starting with this first short story of my friend Marie. 

I love capturing such magical moments of my family and friends but 

I´m always looking for new interesting faces to photograph.

I was looking for this kind of plant for ages! 

I always saw them on pictures of interior blogs but never found out the name of the plant. 

Now I finally got it - a fig tree is all I was looking for.

It´s so simple in its appearance - such a beautiful plant!

Beauty Essential

I´m already dreaming of my summer holidays at the beach.

 I really feel like I need some lazy beach holidays this year and

 these two beauties gonna be my most faithful companions.

Bedroom Makeover

It feels so bloody amazing when a project is finally done. 

Since we moved into our new apartment 1 year ago, we decided to give our a walls a fresh new coat. 

After colouring one of our living room walls dark grey some weeks ago,

 we decided to move on with a pale pink coat for our bedroom. 

My boyfriend and I thought it would be a nice contrast to our red accents and 

why not making a childhood dream of me come true?

The work was again definitely worth it - we are really satisfied with the result.

If I had the money I´d probably dress myself in Chloé from head to toe. 

This Resort collection came up with some really nice pieces for in between seasons, 

when we actually want to get out our summer clothes with the first warm sun beams but 

the temperatures won´t to allow wearing our summer wardrobe already.

Neutral Shades

A long time neutral shades like beige, brown and white were no part of my wardrobe.

Black, grey and navy blue were the dominating colour shades until I´ve discovered

my love for bright colour shades and neutrals in the past few month.

I´m so happy to recognize the tendency, that my new arrivals are mostly creme,

white or at least not black! I´ve gathered my favourite neutral coloured pieces for you.

I don´t need to mention again how I love Freja Beha Erichson. 

Her wild 70ies look is simply amazing and a real inspiration for me.

Mother´s Day Reminder

Pale pink walls

After our succeeded painting action two weeks ago

I´m hooked on embellishing our walls with a touch of colour.

Next room on my list is the bedroom, which I´d like to give a subtle pale pink coat. 

Earlier this week I´ve published Céline´s pre-fall lookbook, where you can recognize

a pink background with exactly that colour shade I´d prefer for our bedroom.

I´d love to start right away!

How to wear white denim

White denim - a summery new arrival in my wardrobe.

Not always easy to combine, but when you know how to do it right,

a perfect companion through warmer seasons.

I´ve bought this Slim fit trouser at Cos the other day and absolutely love it.

Especially for smaller persons, like I am, the Slim Fit trousers from Cos are perfect!

I love to wear my white denims with navy blue or stripy tops.

This time I wanted to try another combination.

Black and white is already a perfect duo but combined with

a warm cognac brown it´s turning into a fresh, ethno-like summer look.

When I discovered this detail shot the other day I´d love 

nothing better than getting my shorts out immediately. 

My longing for bare legs increases steadily but I apprehend that will take a while longer.
