Berlin Travel Guide

Thanks Yvonne!
I just opended post from home and inside there was this beautiful postcard from Berlin with a lovely written text.
I´m getting a little bit homesick while watching at the Mauerpark in springtime and this beautiful view to the TV-Tower in the background.

While dreaming of my beautiful hometown I´ll tell you my favorite places to go:
Mauerpark - on sunny sundays there is no better idea to visit the flea market in Prenzlauer Berg, discover the old treasures and relax in the park near by.
Hokey Pokey - is really the best icecream shop in whole Berlin, you´ll can talk a close walk from the Mauerpark and having really one of the best icecream you ever had ! you have flavors like rhubarb - cream, banana - peanutbutter, ceshewnuts - dark chocolate, pearsorbet and a lot more of these dainties.
Hackescher Markt - my favorite place to shop clothes is definitely Hackescher Markt close to Alexanderplatz. You´ll find stores from Weekday, Urban Outfitters, COS, American Apparel, Muji, Fillipa K and a variety of little boutiques with stylish clothes.
Elfida - is a Cafe in the area of Friedrichshain with an oldschool interior and a great choice of cakes, coffees but also cocktails and food. In summertime you can have a tasteful brunch every sunday for really small money. This area is also nice to stroll through the streets and discover small frippery shops with a good selection of nice things.
Sasaya - if you love sushi in the same way than me, thanyou have to check Sasaya japonese restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg.
You´ll eat in a nicely done up atmosphere, where you can typically japonese sit on the floor and see how they prepare your meals. You don´t have to spend so much money for a great evening with excellent food.
Photoautomat - if you search for a lot of fun than just go into this typical oldschool photoautomats, which you can find all over Berlin. 2€ for 4 photographies in black and white. Always a nice memory on the great time you´ll spend in Berlin.

I guess, you suddenly fell like visiting Berlin !

Photos taken new years eve 2013 in a Photoautomat.
