How to wear ...

pictures via www.pinterest.com

As I mentioned in one of my last posts, I´ve bought myself one of these Fisherman´s hats in Paris,
which thanks to my hatter now fits my teeny tiny hat perfectly. So if you have a small hat like me,
just look for a hatter in your city. It won´t be a problem to reduce the hat circumference up to two centimeters.

I went for the grey Isabel Marant Étoile hat - the most simple model I could find.
Without too much detailing and volume I thought it would go with everything in my wardrobe.
Because of its plain grey colour I can wear it with any other colour without having too much contrast
in my outfits if I´d like to wear lighter shades with it, too. But, of course, you can´t get wrong with navy blue or black either.
The weather in Berlin was not yet hat suitable but I wore it once in the morning and I felt quite fashionable wearing it,
even if I paired it with a skinny black jeans, a black v-neck sweater and brown suede loafers only.
Super simple and comfy but due to my hat still quite cool. Exactly what I thought it would do to my outfits.
I´m really looking forward to my short trip to London, where I´ll hopefully get more use out of it.
In the meantime I keep on looking for inspirations how to rock a fisherman´s hat like Lucy Williams or Kate Moss.

Wishfully Thinking

New season is just around the corner and that means a lot of new arrivals everywhere and
as I am a big lover of Autumn time and especially Autumn clothing I have gathered a list of things
I´m currently coveting. At the top of my list is a good pair of dark washed denim with a high waist
for a bit of a 70ies vibe I am all over at the moment. Any tips for well fitted denim jeans  (for short legs)
in this style to a more affordable price welcomed! Then I´m currently loving print shirts in any sort
and they are quite easy to wear by making any outfit a bit more special. Also something unusual but
still on my wishlist a patterned blouse with star print. This one by Equipment seems perfect but the price tag is insane.
That´s why it is not yet landed into my shopping bag. Same with the beautiful chocolate brown loafers
by Mansur Gavriel, whose design is just on point. I love them even more than the Gucci loafers
everyone (including me) loves so much. Don´t you think the cute bucket bag in a similar brown shade
would be the perfect partner for these loafers? The Necklace by Missoma in collaboration with Lucy Williams
would be the second addition from her collection but every piece of jewellery she has designed is so beautiful and
timeless. Last but not least there are two beauty products on my mind I´d love to try out.
Firstly Giorgio Armani´s Maestro Liquid Summer to keep up a healthy bronzed summer skin in Autumn and
the new autumnal Chanel eyeshadow squad with four matte eyeshadows in my favourite shades of all time.
And as it is going to be more and more comfier the next couple of weeks
I´d like to add a fresh new scented candle to my collection as well.

I´m curious what´s on your wishlist for the upcoming season!
Let´s see what I´m going to add to my wardrobe first. I´ll keep you posted!

Yes, I am still alive...

...but unfortunately I´ve been super busy with work the last couple of weeks.
That´s why I decided to take a little break from blogging and to focus
on my daily work business instead of doing both things by halves.
Now, as time went by so quickly, I began to recognize how much I was missing my personal style diary lately.
Every inspiration and new discovery I made was carefully stored in my head in the beginning but of course,
they became too many and I realized that I need this website to create memories of my life and inspirational sources.
Long story short, time permitting, I´m going to be more active again on this platform and
I hope you´ll coming along again for some outfit ideas, interior inspirations, personal wishlists and much more.

Today, I wanted to share with you some of my holiday souvenirs from my short trip to Paris.
It felt amazing being back in my favourite city of all time. Paris is truly my happy place.
Whenever I feel uninspired or uncertain about the future or overwhelmed by everything,
a couple of days in this city and everything seems less complicated.
August is perhaps not the best month to visit a big city but we were really lucky and
spend most of our days walking through the beautiful streets of Montmatre, Marais and
Saint Germain des Prés, ate good food and did a little bit of shopping, of course.
My most exciting and also most pricy purchase are my new sunglasses from Céline.
An item I wanted to add to my selection for a long time and Paris felt like the perfect place to buy them.
While strolling through Marais I found a nice little Vintage shop and quickly went in
and came back with a new bag from Longchamp. A totally unintentional purchase but a real bargain
and I love a good black and brown leather bag. Somehow I´m really into hair clips at the moment.
That´s why I couldn´t leave this one, which is also hand made in France.
Last but not least (not really visible in the picture) I bought a pair of cure little star earrings,
which I found quite parisian and cool to glam up a simple outift for the evening.
Oh, and I payed my favourite parisian designer Isabel Marant a visit and bought a grey woolen fisherman´s cap,
which I wanted to buy last season already. A piece I am so happy about as it wasn´t easy to find it in my hat size.
Apparently, I have a really small head. Such being the case the smallest size was still too small and my hat
is at a tailor right now to make it even smaller to fit my teeny tiny head.
We brought home, of course, some delicious macarons (a must) but they are all gone by now.

Marland Backus, Heather Kemesky, Janiece Dilone by Cass Bird for Porter Magazine Spring 2016

When one of my favourite photographer, two of my favourite models and lace dresses meet
in one editorial, the result has to look as magical as it does in this photo story by
Cass Bird for the current issue of Porter Magazine.
Titled as Heavenly Creatures, Marland Backus and Heather Kemensky look more than heavenly
in their beautiful, light summer dresses thank to Stylist Alex White.
I can´t wait to spend happy summer days like this on the countryside with my friends.
Let´s pretend we´re gonna look like this as well.
